ARIDE is an advanced roadside impaired driving enforcement program for police officers who are responsible for investigating and charging drunk drivers. The program teaches officers the latest techniques for detecting and apprehending impaired drivers, including the use of standardized field sobriety tests (SFSTs), drug recognition evaluations (DREs), and pre-arrest procedures.
